We are looking for a dedicated Trustee to join our Board of Trustees on a voluntary basis to fulfil the important role of Secretariat.
As a Trustee, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and governance of the charity. As a member of the Board, you will work closely with the operational management team to make informed decisions, provide strategic guidance, and contribute to the overall development and success of the charity. Your expertise, commitment, and passion will help us continue to rescue and rehabilitate the dogs rescued from Asia.
Specific requirements
·A genuine passion for the animal welfare and a general understanding of the animal welfare concerns across Asia (although training will be provided).
· A strong strategic mindset and decision-making abilities.
· Highly organised and (ideally) with project management knowledge / experience.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· An acceptance of the legal duties and responsibilities of Trusteeship (although the other Trustees will help in bringing you up to speed)
· Ability to commit to approximately 5 hours per month for board meetings and additional tasks.
